This Weather Station receives the weather data from three outside sensors. The base station can either use batteries or the AC/DC power supply that is included. This information will be displayed on the base station's LCD or it can be uploaded onto your PC with the included software. The Thermo-hygro sensor is powered by 2 AA batteries for wireless connection to the base station. The wind and rain sensors receive there power from the Thermo-hygro sensor through the connected cables. These cables are 32' long and must connect to the Thermo-hygro sensor in order to transmit information to the base station. When using the AC/DC power adaptor, constant power can be supplied to the base station and all of the outdoor sensors by using the 32' cable connection from the base station to the Thermo-hygro sensor. 1-year warranty
